Four platform tokens
Identity. Exchange. Storage. Network.
Four tokens, one ecosystem. The Foundation governs them; Nyuchi Africa runs them day-to-day. Two anchor identity and commerce on Mukoko (MIT, MXT). Two power the Nyuchi Honeycomb decentralised storage substrate (NST, NHC) — beyond Web3, post-quantum ready, in active development.
-
MIT
Mukoko Identity Token
Identity. Soulbound, non-transferable, permanently bound to a person.
Anchored to your date of birth. Participates in three temporal pools — Year (60%), Month (30%), Day (10%) — whose value rises continuously as the community ages together. Not a currency. A mathematical representation of your temporal identity in the ecosystem.
-
MXT
Mukoko Exchange Token
Commerce. Transferable. The economic nervous system.
Used for peer-to-peer payments in Campfire, commerce in BushTrade, event tickets in Nhimbe, creator rewards in Novels and Bytes, and B2B API fees in Nyuchi. Elastic supply with no hard cap. EmissionController smart contract is sole minting authority. Initial supply 3 billion; baseline 10,000 MXT per new verified user; annual ceiling 15%; burn rate 30% of platform fees. Deployed on Polygon. Floor price mathematically derived from MIT pools.

NST
Nyuchi Storage Token
Storage. Powers the Honeycomb decentralised storage substrate.
NST is consumed by the network when you store data in your sovereign Web3 pod on Honeycomb. Earned by node operators contributing storage capacity. Where MIT measures who you are and MXT measures what you exchange, NST measures the substrate underneath.
-
NHC
Nyuchi Honeycomb Token
Network. Powers Honeycomb itself.
The native token for the Honeycomb decentralised network. Beyond Web3, post-quantum ready, in active development. NHC governs network participation; NST governs storage allocation. Together they make the substrate work.
Speed is rented. Truth is owned.
The token architecture follows the same principle as the data architecture. Tokens that anchor identity and value are permanent. Tokens that power infrastructure follow the substrate. Where we use managed services for speed, we treat them as ephemeral. Where the truth lives — in your pod, in your tokens, in the Foundation's governance — that is owned.
